Tuning in your Strong SRT5001

The Strong SRT 5001 is a fantastic box for those that live in poor reception areas.

To tune in your Strong box, you must first plug in the power transformer, and also use the supplied RCA cables to plug your television in. You should see a picture on screen that looks like the top picture in this series.

Press the green button to scan all channels.

A menu will appear asking for confirmation. Simply press the left arrow button to select yes, then hit OK.

The box will now start scanning all the channels in your area. You can monitor the progress by looking at the signal strength and quality bars.

As more channels are found, they are added to the list on the left. Radio channels are listed on the right.

When it has finished scanning, another dialogue box will appear. Simply click OK and you will now be watching digital television! Enjoy.

A tip for new digital viewers:

1 is channel 10

2 is the ABC

3 is SBS

7 is Seven

9 is Nine

This allows you to easily find the channel you want by pressing 1,2,3,7 or 9.
