The Strong SRT5390 series is ideal for people with busy lifestyles. The 5390 will allow you to set 14 timer recording instances so you can record shows while you are out. You can then come home and watch them and fast forward the ads!

The Strong 5390 will also allow you to time shift. What this means is you can pause tv. Once you have paused, you can go and get that cup of coffee, answer the door, have an hour long chat on the phone or even just let the dog out. All the while, the Strong is recording what you are missing.

Once you have finished what you are doing you can then press play and start watching again. While you are doing this, the Strong box is busy recording the remainder of your show. The SRT5390 is so much better than a VCR, as you can start watching the show when you want - not once it's finished as you don't have to rewind the tape!

This digital set top box has all the features you would expect, and is software upgradeable for future applications.

The SRT 5300 series displays closed captions for the hearing impaired, and will even display Austext, however it WILL NOT record the closed captions on the hard disk.

All our set top boxes have the latest software installed when we send them out. There is no need to update the box immediately.
