ABC announce ABC2 Nightly Footy

ABC2 is Australia's newest free to air digital TV channel.

FOOTY RULES LATE NIGHTS NATIONALLY ON ABC2

Late night, every night on ABC2 is the place to be for football. Whether you’re an Australian Rules, Rugby League or Rugby Union fan, you’ll find the week’s matches from the South Australian (SANFL), Western Australian (WAFL) and Victorian Football Leagues (VFL); the Queensland Rugby League; and, the Shute Shield, weeknights at 11.15pm, Saturday at 11.30pm and Sunday at 11.40pm.

Broadcast nationally, Late Night Footy is a chance to catch games from other states or football codes you would normally miss out on.

The line up features the match played on the weekend prior:

Monday – WAFL
Tuesday – SANFL
Wednesday – VFL
Thursday – QRL
Friday – SANFL
Saturday – WAFL
Sunday (2pm and 11.15pm) – Shute Shield (match recorded the day before)
